The hill farm has some of the best view-points in Radnorshire (now part of Powys), especially from the hill overlooking the house which rises to 1,200 feet. To the South peaceful walks by the small stream can be enjoyed; Pied Flycatchers, Redstarts, Buzzards, Barn Owls and Herons can be seen close by.
